Los Angeles Lakers Receive: C Richaun Holmes
Sacramento Kings Receive: F Talen Horton-Tucker, 2023 Second-Round Pick
Richaun Holmes signed a four-year, $46 million contract with the Sacramento Kings last offseason. Now, they have Domantas Sabonis at the five spot and no longer need Holmes’ services.
After one year, Sacramento might be looking to unload this contract in order to build some room.
The Kings now have Sabonis to dominate the frontcourt so this gives Sacramento options this offseason. He would be the piece going to the Lakers to place next to Davis down low.
In return, the Los Angeles Lakers will part ways with Talen Horton-Tucker along with a second-round pick. It would be a pretty straightforward trade overall.
