2 Massive Trade Packages To Send Anthony Davis To Phoenix Suns

Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

As of last night’s brutal elimination at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks, the Phoenix Suns officially had a disappointing 2021-22 NBA season. Still, any complaints their fans could make to Los Angeles Lakers supporters would have to fall on deaf ears.

After all, there are layers to disappointment. After winning an NBA-best 64 games, the Suns had to feel like they were title contenders. Unfortunately, after losing 123-90 to the Dallas Mavericks, any dreams they had of hoisting the Larry O’Brien Trophy have died. Painfully.

At least they were in the running. The Los Angeles Lakers never got as far as the play-in tournament. They too entered the season with championship aspirations, but reality didn’t wait nearly as long to set in for them.

Both teams face difficult decisions this summer. The Suns need to settle on pending Restricted Free Agent Deandre Ayton’s contract. He played a mere 17 minutes in last night’s elimination game in what was described as an “internal decision”.
