New York Knicks Receive: C Myles Turner
Indiana Pacers Receive: C Mitchell Robinson (sign-and-trade), F Cam Reddish
If the Indiana Pacers are going to be moving on from Myles Turner, they may have some interest in acquiring another center to insert into the starting lineup in his place.
In this scenario, the New York Knicks work with Mitchell Robinson, work out a deal, and include him as a sign-and-trade piece to Indiana.
Indiana would be adding another intriguing young player to the mix in Robinson to go along with Tyrese Haliburton, Chris Duarte, Oshae Brissett, and Isaiah Jackson. The only thing truly missing from that mix is a small forward, which the Knicks include in the form of Cam Reddish.
Reddish is eligible for an extension this offseason, but it is unlikely that he would get one from the Knicks as he didn’t get the opportunity to play much with them after being acquired from the Atlanta Hawks. Right as he was finding a role, he injured his shoulder and was lost for the season.
His inclusion in this deal is two-fold. Unable to find a team that would take on Alec Burks or Evan Fournier, the Knicks have a log jam on the wing.

Reddish was hoping a move away from Atlanta would result in an expanded role, but that isn’t feasible without other moves being made by New York. They also have Quentin Grimes, who is entering his second year in the league, to play the 3-and-D role on the wing.
The second reason for his inclusion is to retain their draft picks. The thinking, from New York’s perspective, is that including Reddish would replace draft compensation, as Indiana is getting a 22-year-old Reddish and 24-year-old Robinson in exchange for a 26-year-old Turner.
If a first-round pick is a sticking point, the Knicks can offer their 2023 first-rounder but make sure that it includes at least top-12 protections.
