The Memphis Grizzlies showed some fight against the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference semifinals. However, their 2022 NBA playoff run was cut short with Ja Morant not being available to help finish it out — losing in Game 6 against the Dubs.

Since the Grizzlies didn’t advance past the second round this year, there’s every reason to believe they could look to upgrade their roster.

That’s a course of action the Utah Jazz look less likely to take. They couldn’t make it out of the first round this year.

The Jazz have simply been underwhelming in the postseason ever since assembling their core duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. They stand to make changes this summer that don’t facilitate short-term improvement.
