Indiana Pacers Receive: C Steven Adams, 2022 First-Round Pick (UTA), 2024 First-Round Pick (GSW)
Memphis Grizzlies Receive: C Myles Turner

In this proposed deal, the Indiana Pacers would receive Steven Adams and two first-round picks in exchange for Turner. A straight center-for-center swap, the Pacers would add Adams, a reliable rebounder and drop-scheme defender.

The Grizzlies traded for Steven Adams just last offseason, adding him in a swap for center Jonas Valanciunas. Adams has been fine in his role for Memphis – any starter on a 56-win team is at the very least adequate. In 26.3 minutes per game this season, Adams contributed a modest 6.9 points and 10 rebounds per game.

Indiana has played Turner at the five for seven seasons now. Despite intriguing talent, the center has never averaged over 15 points in a season in his career.

Since 2018, though, Turner has averaged 2.7 blocks and 1.3 three-pointers per game. His block figure is first in the NBA in that span, while his three-pointers make him top ten among centers.
