Los Angeles Lakers
Whether Russell Westbrook is in the mix next season might not impact the Los Angeles Lakers’ front office going after Kemba Walker.
The Westbrook experiment was a disaster after just one year for the Lakers. Now, the front office might be looking for a trade but Walker could fit either way.
If Westbrook is traded, Walker could be another bridge option to do it Lakers find another guard. He might even be able to fit next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis because of his ability for three-point range. If Westbrook is kept on the team, Walker would improve the depth of the top of the offense.
Either way, this seems like a cheap deal for the Lakers they could turn into a win. Los Angeles struggled with depth last season and this will improve right away if they can find another guard.
