After a disappointing 2021-22 NBA campaign for the Atlanta Hawks, they could benefit from undergoing a few major changes to re-tool around Trae Young.

The Miami Heat were able to switch everything and load up on Young. While he could benefit from playing more within the flow of the offense, there has to be talent around him capable of creating pressure on the defense to get them out of rotation.

John Collins has been a helpful lob threat for Young while also being capable of knocking down 3s and can provide some scoring out of the post at times, too. However, the Hawks need to be willing to part with all non-Young members of the roster to improve.

Now, after seeing his numbers take a hit across the board, Collins could be on the move in the offseason if the front office finds the right deal.
