It was an interesting 2021-22 NBA season for Nikola Jokic and his Denver Nuggets. On Wednesday, it drew to its expected conclusion.

It feels safe to assume that the Denver Nuggets would have been more formidable with Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. this season.

Unfortunately, both lost most of their 2021-22 seasons to injury. Jokic was left with minimal help. The team’s first-round exit was entirely predictable.

Watching Jokic with a ragtag group of role players and benchwarmers got us thinking: if we could see Jokic play with anyone, who would we choose?
