The Knicks play in the biggest market in the NBA. The Jazz play in one of the smallest. New York is known for its skyscrapers and nightlife. Utah is known for its mountain ranges and, well…not nightlife.
For all the differences between the two, there’s one commonality between the Knicks and the Jazz. They’ve both been remarkably disappointing in 2021-22.
The Knicks missed the play-in tournament altogether. Charting their course is a challenge. This team has a unique mixture of intriguing young players and savvy veterans. Arguably, they need to lean harder in one direction or another. Either they ought to rebuild this team, or strengthen it.
