Cam Reddish

This is not the first time Cam Reddish has come up in trade rumors. It would not make much sense for him to be moved, but this is the New York Knicks we are talking about.

The Knicks acquired Reddish at the deadline and sent the Hawks a first-round pick. This is why it was surprising to see him back in trade rumors quickly. New York took massive steps back this season after finishing as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference last year. It did not qualify for the playoffs, and there is not much of a path once again. The Knicks have a poor contract with Julius Randle and have some young talent but no stars.

Reddish fits the category of young talent. He will improve with extended minutes, but Tom Thibodeau did not make him part of the rotation.
