While he was one of the most sought-after trade targets leading up to the NBA trade deadline this season, Jerami Grant was not traded by the Detroit Pistons and will enter the offseason with one more year left on his contract.
After signing a three-year, $60 million deal with the Pistons ahead of the 2020-21 season, Jerami Grant emerged as one of the better two-way forwards in the league, averaging 22.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and shooting 42.9% from the floor last season.
While he has missed time this season due to a thumb injury, Jerami Grant has still proven that he is a high-level scorer and will continue to be a key trade target monitored by teams across the NBA.
The Pistons are a rebuilding franchise right now and while Grant was the star on the team last year, this title has seemed to be given to rookie and No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham, who is making a late-season push for Rookie of the Year.
