Things are not going well for the Los Angeles Lakers. They haven’t played a game since February 16th, when they defeated the Utah Jazz. Yet, they came out of NBA All-Star Weekend feeling as if they had lost.

The All-Star festivities were held in Cleveland, where LeBron James cemented his legacy as one of the best players to ever pick up a basketball. He had some interesting quotes during the break, all of which were calculated and cunning to put some pressure on the Lakers going forward.

James has seemingly not been on the game page with the team, and it came to light after Rob Pelinka said everyone was in lockstep about plans leading up to the deadline and that seemed to not be true. Klutch Sports was pushing for the Lakers to acquire John Wall from the Houston Rockets, but the team was reluctant to trade away their 2027 first-round pick.

If James and the franchise aren’t on the same page, there could be some big changes coming this offseason. He doesn’t want to leave Los Angeles, but if the front office cannot build a competitive roster, he will certainly assess all of his options moving forward.

One of the things he mentioned during All-Star Weekend was that he wants to end his career playing with his son, Bronny, and left the door open to make a return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He also praised Oklahoma City Thunder general manager Sam Presti.

If LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are heading toward a divorce, virtually every team in the NBA would love to add him. Here are three teams that he should be eyeing amid rumors surrounding the Lakers.
