Making All-NBA Team Picks: All-Star Break Edition

There are less than 7 weeks left in the 2021-22 NBA season and while there is not much time left for teams to kick things into high gears, there is still plenty of basketball left to be played this season. 

No team in the league has less than 21 games left on their schedule and no team has more than 25 games left, making for some very interesting situations down the stretch-run of the year. 

In the Eastern Conference, just 7 games separate the top-seeded Bulls and Heat from the 8-seeded Brooklyn Nets, and in the Western Conference, the Suns will be without All-Star Chris Paul likely through the remainder of the regular season. 

Could the Warriors and Grizzlies possibly make a late-run at getting the best record in the entire NBA?

On top of the playoffs and standings, there are still a lot of awards and honors up for grabs as well. The Sixth-Man of the Year award and Most Improved Player Award seems to be locked up at this point by Tyler Herro (Heat) and Ja Morant (Grizzlies), respectively, but the MVP award is still very much up for grabs and there are just a few “locks” at this point for the All-NBA teams. 

Making the All-NBA list is one of the most prestigious honors in the NBA and has major implications on future contracts for players, so if the season ended today, who would be an All-NBA selection?
