Goran Dragic – San Antonio Spurs
Since being traded to the Toronto Raptors before the start of the season, many anticipated Goran Dragic being a prime buyout candidate this season.
Now, with Dragic on the move to San Antonio at the trade deadline, it appears as if he will be bought out of his contract in the coming week.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Goran Dragic and the Spurs are expected to negotiate a buyout agreement with one another, allowing the 35-year-old guard to sign elsewhere and play for a possible contender.
Nearing the end of his career, Dragic has proven that he can still be an impactful guard in this league and with Kendrick Nunn being out since the preseason with a bone bruise, the Lakers could definitely use some kind of impact in their backcourt.
