The Utah Jazz began the 2021-22 NBA season on a strong note but are quickly approaching a situation where they could lose homecourt advantage for the first-round of the 2022 NBA playoffs.. They appear primed to make some sort of a move at the NBA trade deadline.
The Jazz have their core locked up and now they could be looking for some other pieces to build the rotation. Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert signed extensions and it is time for the franchise to take the next step toward a championship.
This is, of course, if Mitchell wants to stay long term. There have been talks that he wants to play in a larger market but nothing has happened just yet.
With that being said, the Jazz have other options to explore but only so many. They do not want to completely blow it up but there are contracts that could be sent away.
