It has been 15 seasons since the Sacramento Kings made the NBA playoffs and it seems like this number is going to be increasing to 16 this season!

The Kings have long been the laughing stock of the league and after firing head coach Luke Walton less than 20 games into the season and losing by a combined 70 points in their last two games, it is safe to assume Sacramento will be open for business at the trade deadline.

Marvin Bagley III and Buddy Hield have long been two rumored trade assets on the Kings roster this season and while it is still likely that both players could be on the move, so could veteran forward Harrison Barnes.

Acquiring Barnes from the Mavericks during the 2018-19 season, the 29-year-old forward has played well as a member of the Kings and is currently in the midst of having another solid all-around season.

In 45 games with the Kings this season, Harrison Barnes has averaged 16.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and has shot a career-high 41.1% from three-point range.

Making $38.6M through next season, Harrison Barnes’ contract is definitely a little more on the unfavorable side of things, but there are several teams that have shown a level of interest in him leading up to the trade deadline this season.

According to Sacramento Kings insider James Ham, core players like Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes and Richaun Holmes are all available in trade talks and one team to keep an eye on in regards to Barnes is the Utah Jazz.

After having the best record in the NBA last season, the Jazz fell in the Western Conference Semifinals to the Los Angeles Clippers and it still appears as if Utah is missing something on their roster.
