Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics are currently one of the most active teams in trade discussions with the NBA trade deadline drawing closer. They would like to add pieces that will help them contend this season and may have their eyes set on one intriguing target. Justin Holiday of the Indiana Pacers appears to be a player they have interest in acquiring.

According to a source, the Celtics are eyeing a trade for Holiday. They love his ability to defend on the perimeter and he would be an ideal fit alongside Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown as a threat from the three-point line.

Holiday has been one of the more underrated trade targets around the NBA over the last couple of weeks. He has been playing well for the Pacers and there are at least three contenders interested in him. One other team that has been mentioned is the Milwaukee Bucks, who are also looking to add shooting and perimeter defense.

Throughout the course of the 2021-22 NBA season thus far, Holiday has played in 42 games and started in 33 of those appearances. He has averaged 10.9 points per game to go along with 2.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists. Holiday has shot 40.8 percent from the floor overall and has knocked down 37.1 percent of his three-point attempts.
