The NBA rumors mill has begun heating up as the trade deadline is just over two weeks away. It could be an active deadline with such a limited amount of teams projected to have cap space this offseason. As a result, trades are the only way teams can shake up their roster.

One team that could make some moves ahead of the NBA trade deadline is the Brooklyn Nets. They don’t have many assets, but they could go in a few different directions to improve their standing in the second half of the season heading into the postseason.

There has been some chatter about Joe Harris possibly being made available, but he recently had a setback in rehab that could take him off the table. Could the team entertain the idea of trading Kyrie Irving, who has returned to the team but is still a part-time player because he remains unvaccinated?

Irving’s situation is reportedly causing frustration for James Harden. There has been a lot of talk that Harden will find his way to the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason as the Irving situation is weighing on him.

In addition to Irving, Harden isn’t a fan of head coach Steve Nash having fluid rotations and isn’t enjoying living in Brooklyn as much as he enjoyed his time in Houston. If the Nets are getting the impression Harden will not be sticking around with the team, could they make a blockbuster involving him?

It seems unlikely, but you cannot count anything out in the NBA. The 76ers are the favorites to land him, but other teams could also get involved. Could one of them be the Atlanta Hawks, who need a shaking up of their own?

Let’s take a look at this hypothetical deal that would land Harden in The Peach State.
