The Philadelphia 76ers continue to be one of the more active teams leading up to the NBA trade deadline this season and they continue to talk about trades pertaining to Ben Simmons.
The three-time All-Star has not played in a single game with the Sixers this season and has not played since June 20, Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Atlanta Hawks. The 76ers have received interest from several teams across the league, but their asking price of a championship-quality player has not been met.
While the team continues to hold discussions pertaining to Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris has suddenly become a name mentioned in trade talks recently. Philadelphia has expressed interest in moving Harris’ contract in a trade with Ben Simmons, but they could definitely look to trade Tobias Harris individually as well over the course of the next few weeks.
Now in his fourth season with the 76ers, 11th overall, Tobias Harris has turned himself into the 76ers’ second primary scoring option next to Joel Embiid, but his contract is a cause for concern right now.

There is little interest in trading for Tobias Harris individually right now across the league, but the Sacramento Kings are a team to keep a close eye on ahead of the trade deadline, especially given their interest in Ben Simmons.
It is possible that the 76ers’ front-office could convince the Kings to pursue a trade for Tobias Harris instead and the Kings really do not have much to lose.
