The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the best surprises of the NBA season so far. They’re currently fighting for a top-six seed in the Eastern Conference when most people pegged them to be one of the worst teams in the league this year.

A big part of this has been the play of Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen. Both are turning into young stars before our very eyes, and both have a chance at making their first All-Star game this season. However, the Cavs should always be looking to add to this young core.

This is where the New Orleans Pelicans come in. While the Cavs have been one of the best surprises this year, the Pelicans have been one of the worst. Even with Zion Williamson out of the lineup, they’ve been extremely disappointing.

New Orleans has been so bad this year, that some have even brought up the idea of reshaping the team. The current core isn’t playing well, so why not retool the team before Williams even makes his return?
