Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G Donovan Mitchell, F Bojan Bogdanovic, F Joe Ingles
Utah Jazz Receive: G/F Ben Simmons, F Tobias Harris
This hypothetical trade was worked out over at HoopsHabit. While this is an unlikely deal to occur before the 2022 NBA trade deadline, it could intrigue both the Philadelphia 76ers and Utah Jazz.
The 76ers are acquiring two-time All-Star Donovan Mitchell, who should meet Daryl Morey and the team’s trade demands for Ben Simmons. He is 25-years old with star potential, which Morey is holding out for in any Simmons trade package.
Along with Mitchell, the 76ers are acquiring Bojan Bogdanovic and Joe Ingles, two players that will further lengthen and improve the team’s rotation on the wing. But, they will not help improve the team’s defense.
Philadelphia has reportedly been interested in pairing the contract of Tobias Harris in Simmons trade negotiations and they accomplish that goal as well in this deal.
