Sacramento Kings Receive: F Reggie Bullock, G Josh Green, DAL 2025 1st Round Pick (Top-5 Protected; Conveys 2 years after prior obligation to NYK in 2023)
Dallas Mavericks Receive: F Harrison Barnes, F Kenrich Williams
Oklahoma City Thunder Receive: C Dwight Powell, DAL 2024 2nd Round Pick (Top-45 Protected)
The Dallas Mavericks have some financial problems right now after giving Tim Hardaway Jr. a four-year, $75M contract in the offseason, but they do have the ability to open up cap space this season via trades.
Not only do they have a $10.8M TPE to utilize ahead of the trade deadline, but the Mavs also have Dwight Powell ($11M), Reggie Bullock ($9.5M) and even Tim Hardaway Jr. ($21.3M) as potential trade assets.
It is unlikely that the team will trade Hardaway Jr., but leveraging both Powell and Bullock for Harrison Barnes could really help improve the Mavericks offensive woes. As a team, Dallas is really strong defensively, but they rank just 18th in the league in offensive rating and 25th in scoring.
With no real scoring weapons on the wing, Harrison Barnes could step right in for this Mavericks team and make a big difference as a secondary scorer next to Luka Doncic, something Reggie Bullock has not been this season.

Bullock was one of Dallas’ key offseason signings, but he is only averaging 6.4 points per game on 32.1% shooting from deep.
The Kings may look at Reggie Bullock as a liability, especially since he is under contract past next season, but they do add a young talent in Josh Green, a future first-round pick and free up some much needed cap space.
Cutting salaries at the deadline could be of a lot of interest to the Kings and by getting out of Barnes’ contract early, they can open up the necessary room to go after a star to pair with De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton.

As for the Thunder, what do they get out of all of this? By taking on Dwight Powell’s contract, they not only get closer to reaching the salary cap floor on the season, but they also get a second-round pick for a role player in Kenrich Williams.
Oklahoma City Thunder GM Sam Presti is always looking to add draft picks via trades, which is why he could be interested in adding his team to this deal with the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings.
