One of the most disappointing teams in the NBA this season has been the Indiana Pacers and it does not seem like things are going to get better moving forward. Just 15-28 on the season, the Pacrs continue to sink deeper in the Eastern Conference standings and they just simply cannot stay healthy.
T.J. Warren remains sidelined from a foot injury suffered at the beginning of last season, Malcolm Brogdon has been dealing with Achilles soreness for the last month and veteran Jeremy Lamb has been in and out of the rotation due to knee soreness stemming from him tearing his ACL in 2020.
Due to their horrible start to the 2021-22 season and seeing their playoff hopes start to fade away, it is expected that the Indiana Pacers will be active at the NBA trade deadline. Unlike most teams who will be looking to add talent, the Pacers will likely be “open for business” and look to trade away talents for more future value.
In December, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Pacers are heading towards a rebuild and will not only be receptive to trade talks for All-Star forward Domantas Sabonis, but Caris LeVert and Myles Turner as well.
