The Dallas Mavericks currently sit at fifth place in the Western Conference and have won eight of their last ten games; making them one of the NBA’s hottest teams as of late. They’ve bounced back from an up and down start to the year and are looking to be one of the contenders to come out of the West.
In a weird twist of fate, however, it hasn’t been Luka Doncid leading the charge for Dallas – it’s been Kristaps Porzingis. In the last ten games, Porzingis has averaged 22.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists while shooting 51.3 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from deep.
Despite this, the team could still use some more scorers on the roster.
Outside of those two and Jalen Brunson, almost everyone else on the roster has been fairly inconsistent in terms of production. Dallas might want to take a look at the trade market for scorers ahead of the NBA trade deadline.
