Los Angeles Lakers Receive: G Eric Gordon
Houston Rockets Receive: F Talen Horton-Tucker, G Kendrick Nunn, 2023 Second-Round Pick, 2025 Second-Round Pick
This is about as simple as it gets. The Los Angeles Lakers would ship Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn (their most common trade package) to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Eric Gordon.
No picks, no third teams, just the three players.
Gordon, as mentioned, has been great for the Rockets this season. The 33-year-old veteran guard is putting up 14.9 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists while shooting 50.4 percent from the field and 45.6 percent from deep.
Horton-Tucker has been less impressive for the Lakers this year. In fact, the third-year wing has been fairly disappointing. He’s averaging 10.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists while shooting 40.5 percent from the field and 24.1 percent from deep.

Lastly, Nunn has yet to appear in a game this season. He has been dealing with a knee injury all year. However, the 26-year-old was great during his time with the Miami Heat. He’s a confident scorer who shoots the ball efficiently.
This package has been thrown around by the Lakers (supposedly), and this trade would get them a solid rotational piece to play with. But is it enough to pique their interest? Why should these teams be interested in making a trade like this one?
