The Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks have been two of the more frequently mentioned teams in recent NBA trade rumors and they each came together for a deal on Thursday.

As first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Atlanta Hawks are sending Cam Reddish to the New York Knicks along along with Solomon Hill, and a 2025 second-round pick (via Brooklyn Nets) in exchange for a 2022 first-round pick (via Charlotte Hornets) and Kevin Knox II.

Knicks also acquire Solomon Hill and a 2025 second-round pick via Brooklyn in trade. New York is including Kevin Knox in trade to Atlanta.

Reddish’s tenure with the Hawks was impacted significantly by injury but ended with the coaching staff looking at other options in recent games. He is having a solid season with averages of 11.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists but is receiving just 23.4 minutes per game.

There was previously reported trade interest from the Knicks centered around both Cam Reddish and Myles Turner. The line of thinking was centered around New York viewing either of those players as being likely to get signed to a new contract when their current deals is done to keep them long-term.
