Washington Wizards Upgrade Playoff-Caliber Roster
Washington Wizards Receive: C Myles Turner, G Justin Holiday
Indiana Pacers Receive: F Kyle Kuzma, C Thomas Bryant, F Deni Avdija, MEM 2022 2nd Round Pick (via UTA), IND 2024 1st Round Pick (Top-5 Protected), UTA 2025 2nd Round Pick (Top-55 Protected)
Utah Jazz Receive: F Torrey Craig
Both the Washington Wizards and Utah Jazz could use a little bit more talent to achieve the goals they set forth at the beginning of the season and this trade does that for them.
The Wizards does not necessarily need to trade for a center seeing as they have Daniel Gafford, Montrezl Harrell and Rui Hachimura returning to action, but the Wizards have shown interest in Myles Turner in the past.
With Kyle Kuzma playing so well, they could be hesitant to give him up, but pairing Turner with Bradley Beal and Spencer Dinwiddie surely makes the Washington Wizards an intriguing team in the Eastern Conference.
As for the Jazz, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported recently that Utah is looking for a defensive-minded wing ahead of the trade deadline. Torrey Craig has made a name for himself being an impactful two-way wing in this league and he is averaging upwards of 49.7% from the floor this season.

Giving up Myles Turner, Torrey Craig and Justin Holiday sure makes the Pacers look like they are rebuilding, but they would simply be replacing expendable talent on their roster for more upside.
Kyle Kuzma, Thomas Bryant and Deni Avdija are all young building blocks that they could utilize both now and in the future to try and snap out of the two-year funk that they have been in. However, the Washington Wizards may not be so willing to give all three of them up at the moment.
In terms of getting the most return for Myles Turner ahead of the trade deadline this season, the Washington Wizards may be the team that the Pacers should turn to.
