5 Stars Most Likely To Be Moved Ahead Of NBA Trade Deadline

NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The NBA trade deadline is quickly approaching. Thursday, February 10th is when the deadline is set for and there will be plenty of phone calls placed between teams up until then. Given the current landscape of the league, this deadline could be a very active one.

While some things will develop slower than normal, as players entering the league’s health and safety protocols make trade discussions difficult in some scenarios, trades will be made. With so few teams looking like they will have cap space this summer, making trades is the only way to upgrade a roster.

This year, some potential difference makers could be available. While superstars such as Bradley Beal and Zach LaVine aren’t going to be moved, there will be players on the move that will impact the playoff picture in both conferences.

Will upstart teams, such as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets and Memphis Grizzlies take a swing for the fences to cement themselves as playoff contenders? What about teams just on the outside looking in of a playoff spot and in an NBA Play-In Tournament place, such as the Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers?

Rumors will swirl, as teams are emerging as clear sellers ahead of the deadline. Those sellers will have a major impact on the playoff race even if they aren’t contending for a spot in the tournament themselves.

Which players could be on the move in the coming weeks? Here are five stars that are most likely to be traded ahead of the NBA trade deadline.
