Indiana Pacers Receive: G/F Ben Simmons, G Jaden Springer
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: C/F Domantas Sabonis, G Caris LeVert, F Justin Holiday
This trade would see two All-Stars traded for each other. As mentioned the Indiana Pacers said that both Domantas Sabonis and Caris LeVert are on the trade block, so seeing them dealt in a deal for Simmons wouldn’t be surprised at all.
Simmons has yet to play this year, but the last version of him we saw was a Defensive Player of the Year candidate.
The Pacers know what they’d be getting in Simmons for the most part, with the only question mark being what form he’d be in immediately after returning from his absence.
Sabonis has been having another All-Star-caliber season, although the current record of his team will likely result in him not making the team. He’s averaging 19.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 58.6 percent from the field and 32.3 percent from deep.

When he hasn’t been injured, Caris LeVert has provided a solid scoring punch for Indiana. This season, he’s averaging 17.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists while shooting 43.1 percent from the field and 31.0 percent from deep.
Justin Holiday would be more of a throw-in, but he’d give the Sixers some extra veteran depth off the bench in his second stint with the team. All in all, why should both teams be interested in a trade like this?
