Would this trade make sense for the Chicago Bulls?
Now is the time for the Chicago Bulls to go all-in for their pursuit of a championship. The team used last year’s NBA trade deadline to add Nikola Vucevic then made a splash to add both DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball in the offseason.
One of the weaknesses the Bulls face is a lack of scoring production from their bench. Chicago is averaging just 27.0 bench points per game (29th) with the Toronto Raptors (24.3) being the only team in the league producing lesser results.
An intriguing option for the Bulls would be to add a guard that can get downhill and make plays with the basketball. Derrick Rose, who has solidified himself as a premiere sixth-man in the NBA, stands out as a great option for a title contender.
For all of what Alex Caruso provides, pairing his defensive prowess with a dynamic offensive threat like Rose would go a long way. Coby White is averaging 11.4 points per game while shooting 45.1% from the floor and 38.0% from beyond the arc on the season. Rose can bring contributions a few levels higher.

While Coby White could develop long-term into being a helpful player as he’s shown recent flashes of being capable of achieving, a more established veteran like Rose could be more equipped for a title run.
