Caris LeVert/Myles Turner
The second team that the Los Angeles Laker should place a call to is the Indiana Pacers. Indiana is looking to shake things up on their roster and is reportedly open for business. Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner and Caris LeVert are three of the players that were mentioned as possibly being available.
It will be difficult to land any of them, but the Los Angeles Lakers should at least try their hand at LeVert or Turner. Both would be excellent additions to the roster for what they could bring to the table, but both have contracts of $17.5 million.
Unless Indiana parted with both of them as part of a deal for Russell Westbrook, other pieces would need to be included to make the math work. Jeremy Lamb, on an expiring $10.5 million deal, could be on the table. Possibly T.J Warren, who is owed $12.6 million and still rehabbing an injury, would be worth taking a shot on as well.
The Pacers were in the market for a point guard before the season, as they were linked to the Philadelphia 76ers and Ben Simmons. Seeing how their season has gone thus far, they could still want a change at the position and the Lakers could offer Westbrook as the solution.

Acquiring two or three players for Westbrook would help replenish the depth that Los Angeles lost when they acquired him from the Washington Wizards. That should be their goal in any negotiations his name is involved in, as the team needs to fill out the roster.
