Could Hawks Make Sense For Ben Simmons Trade?
Currently 16-20 on the season, the Atlanta Hawks are on the outside of the Eastern Conference playoff picture, but they find themselves struggling because of all the players that they have been missing.
Not only has it felt like their entire team entered the league’s health and safety protocols at some point this season, but no player on their roster has played in all 36 games for them this season, Clint Capela being the closest with 34 games under his belt.
Bogdan Bogdanovic and Cam Reddish both missed time this season with separate injuries and both Solomon Hill (hamstring) and De’Andre Hunter (wrist) are out indefinitely. In order for the Atlanta Hawks to have a chance at being a playoff threat again, they are going to have to make some kind of drastic change to their roster.
With the Eastern Conference being “top-heavy” last season and the two best teams in the Bucks and Nets playing each other before the Eastern Conference Finals, there was a path that opened up for the Hawks and they seized their opportunities.
