3. De’Aaron Fox
The Sacramento Kings are currently riding a 15-year playoff drought, which is tied for the longest in NBA history. They could be the sole owners of that record in a few months, as they look like they are well on their way to missing the postseason for a 16th straight year.
If the Kings accept the harsh reality that they need to retool the roster again, they will be receiving plenty of calls ahead of the deadline. Harrison Barnes is a name to watch, but De’Aaron Fox could be as well.
There were some reports that Fox and Tyrese Haliburton were struggling to find cohesion in the backcourt. Based on how each of them has performed when the other has been out of the lineup, there is likely some truth to that statement.
If the Kings want to give Haliburton the keys to the team, as he was excellent when Fox was sidelined in the league’s health and safety protocols, the New York Knicks should make a call to the Kings.

The point guard position has been an issue for the Knicks seemingly since Walt Frazier was manning the position. They have not had the same starting point guard on opening night consecutive seasons since the 2008-09 and 2009-10 when Chris Duhon manned the spot.
Raymond Felton during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 started consecutively in the backcourt, but Jason Kidd could have been recognized as the point guard in 2013-14.

Fox would put an end to that for the foreseeable future. While he does have his flaws, as his 3-point shooting needs work and he is a poor defender, he would give the Knicks some stability at a position they have been seeking for a long time.
As a Kentucky product, he would fit right in with the Knicks, who have former Wildcats throughout the organization.
