These 3 Teams Are Logical Trade Suitors For Kings’ Harrison Barnes

Harrison Barnes, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The Sacramento Kings are one team that a lot of people are going to have their eyes on once trade talks begin heating up around the NBA. They could go in either direction, as they want to be buyers and contend for a playoff spot, but they could also accept the harsh reality that another roster rebuild needs to occur.

Whichever direction they decide to go in, the Kings will be active on the trade market. Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley III are two players that have been mentioned in rumors for months, going back to the offseason.

The one player that could garner the most attention on the roster is Harrison Barnes. The veteran forward started the season off scorching hot but has cooled down recently. Despite his statistics coming back down to Earth, he is still putting together an excellent season.

Barnes is averaging 17.3 points per game, making 45 percent of his shots overall, 39.9 percent from the 3-point line, and 83.5 percent from the foul line. He is pulling down 6.4 rebounds, handing out 2.5 assists, and swiping 0.9 steals in 34 minutes per game.

Harrison Barnes would be a good fit in virtually every offense because he can fit numerous schemes. He is skilled enough to punish mismatches and an excellent shooter. As productive as he is on offense, Barnes is just as good defensively, as he can defend both forward spots, wings and in some circumstances play the five-spot as well.

Acquiring him won’t be too easy, as plenty of teams will line up for him should he be made available. Here are three teams that should be pursuing him to help make a push for the postseason.
