The Atlanta Hawks are currently dealing with a bunch of injuries, which has resulted in them only being 13-14 almost two months into the 2021-22 NBA season.
Solomon Hill is out for the season with a hamstring injury, De’Andre Hunter will not return until some point in 2022 due to wrist surgery, Onyeka Okongwu has yet to play this year due to offseason shoulder surgery and Bogdan Bogdanovic has missed the Hawks last six games with a sprained ankle.
Health is definitely a concern for the Hawks and it could prevent them from making another miraculous playoff run. Last season, the 5-seeded Hawks made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals before falling victim to the eventual NBA Champions, the Milwaukee Bucks.
Trae Young is looking to prove that last season was not a fluke and he has continued to play like one of the best guards in the entire league, but the rest of this roster is somewhat limited given all of their injuries.

John Collins is a high-level talent, as is Clint Capela, but the Hawks are going to need to look to add some more talent on the wing, especially if Bogdanovic’s ankle continues to give him trouble and if Hunter suffers any setbacks.
The Eastern Conference is as talented as it has ever been over the last few years this season, which is why the room for error in Atlanta is very small. They currently sit 10th in the conference and for the Hawks to get better, leveraging Cam Reddish could be a move they have to make.
Atlanta explored trade opportunities for Reddish close to the 2021 NBA Draft in hopes of moving up into the lottery, but no real trade ever developed. Now, NBA Insider Shams Charania is reporting that Cam Reddish is drawing interest from several teams around the league.

One of those teams could very well be the Indiana Pacers.
This season has not been favorable to the Indiana Pacers and their recent lack of success could result in them looking to go through some kind of a short rebuilding process. At just 22-years-old and possessing the potential to be an impactful two-way wing, Cam Reddish is the type of player the Pacers should be looking to add. \
Let’s take a look at what a trade involving Cam Reddish going to Indiana would end up looking like.
