Currently 12-17 on the season, the Indiana Pacers have really struggled to find chemistry amongst their roster this NBA season and injuries continue to hurt their chances to build something special.

Missing the playoffs for the first-time since 2015 last season, the Pacers are on-track to miss the playoffs once again, which would mark the first-time since 2009-10 that Indiana has missed the postseason in back-to-back seasons.

Malcolm Brogdon, Caris LeVert, Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis and T.J. Warren are all high-level talents, but all five guys have not played together because of injuries and the Pacers are running out of time to turn things around. Anything is possible, but with how good the Eastern Conference is this season, it seems like the Pacers could be heading towards tearing things down.

About a week ago, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that the Indiana Pacers are moving toward rebuilding and they are going to be receptive to trade talk centered around not only Domantas Sabonis and Caris LeVert, but Myles Turner as well.

Turner has led the league in blocks two of the last three seasons and is expected to be in the running for Defensive Player of the Year.

His shot-blocking abilities and ability to keep opponents out of the paint is what makes him a very intriguing trade target for plenty of teams around the league.

Whilte their cap situation is very unfavorable at the moment and they basically cannot make any trades, there is a scenario in which the Brooklyn Nets could ultimately end up with Myles Turner.

It would not be easy for them to do, but the Nets did have interest in Turner this past offseason and the center position continues to be one the organization is looking to figure out. LaMarcus Aldridge has been great for them off-the-bench, but adding Myles Turner could make one of the best teams in the league a lock to win the Eastern Conference.

So how can the Nets possibly put together a trade for Myles Turner and the remaining $35M on his contract through next season? Let’s take a look at who the Nets would have to give to the Pacers in return.
