After starting the NBA season 10-16, the Indiana Pacers seem to be on the verge of collapse from within. On Tuesday, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that the Pacers are moving toward a rebuild and that they are receptive to trade talks centered on Caris LeVert and either Domantas Sabonis or Myles Turner.
One player that was not mentioned in potential trade talks though was TJ Warren, who is currently still trying to work his way back from a foot injury last season that required surgery. Warren was a breakout star in the 2020 NBA Bubble for the Pacers, but only played in 4 games last season before suffering said foot injury.
It was expected before the season began that he could possibly be on the court by mid-November, but Warren did suffer some setbacks, leading to him likely making his season-debut sometime early on in 2022.
Being in the final year of his contract though and still holding quite a bit of value on the trade market, TJ Warren may be someone that the Pacers show interest in leveraging.

Chris Duarte and Justin Holiday have played well on the wing in his absence and it is not like Warren is going to return and all the Pacers’ problems are going to be solved, so trading him could make some sense for this organization, especially if they are unsure about keeping him long-term.
Having virtually no cap space and no real tradable assets, the Los Angeles Lakers would have a hard time putting together a trade package that would interest the Pacers, who are on the verge of a rebuild, but there is potentially one scenario that could wind up working out.
The Los Angeles Lakers brought in a lot of big names and talent this past offseason, but at 12-12, they have really struggled on both ends of the floor and seem to be missing talent on the wing.
