Orlando Magic Receive: C Thomas Bryant, F Davis Bertans, 2025 First Round Pick
There has been a progression from Mo Bamba this season but it’s still clear he’s not going to achieve his full ceiling as a player by playing for the Orlando Magic. The Washington Wizards would acquire him in this NBA trade scenario to see if they can be the team to do so.
For one side, it would be about sending away a player on an expiring deal while the other is taking a chance on a former lottery pick. Bamba would be that former lottery pick being sent away.
In return, the Magic would receive Thomas Bryant, Davis Bertans, and a first-round pick in 2025. Bryant is in the final year of his current contract — making him a free agent in the offseason.
Bryant has not played in any of the Wizards’ games this season as he recovers from a torn ACL. Washington is ‘hopeful’ to have Bryant back in the fold before January, however.
