New York Knicks
The New York Knicks came into the season with expectations for the first time in nearly a decade. This came after finishing as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference last season. The front office was aggressive in the offseason and that could continue after an inconsistent start.
The Knicks looked good to begin the season but have come back down to Earth a bit in recent weeks. Evan Fournier and Kemba Walker were the main additions in the offseason, along with a new contract for Julius Randle.
Harrison Barnes could be the main target during the regular season. The New York Knicks have strong depth coming off the bench. Barnes would add to that and give them a veteran option at small forward. He would be able to guide RJ Barrett, who has been a model of inconsistency.
Once the postseason rolls around, the New York Knicks expect to be in contention. If this is going to happen, they will need some big pieces to step up and potentially add some more.
