Would this trade make sense for the Sacramento Kings?

While Buddy Hield is still productive, his days in Sacramento with the Kings seem to be numbered. He is  not a future piece there and that is why the Kings should look to move him right away. It has been a confusing year for both sides and it just makes sense for each to have a fresh start.

When looking at the return, the Kings would get some players that they would be able to flip in a deal. They are short-term options that would not handcuff the team financially.

Any sort of draft capital for Hield is a win for a rebuilding team and that is what Sacramento should be focused on.

The Kings have a centerpiece player in De’Aaron Fox and it is important that they build around him. It seems as though they are going to blow it up once again and if they do, Hield could be one of the first players moved.

There are plenty of moves on the horizon for a team like Sacramento and it will be interesting to see which they do first. The Kings are off to a bit of a surprise and start the season but it is unlikely that they maintain the success for 82 games.
