Detroit Pistons Receive: G Buddy Hield, C Chimezie Metu
Sacramento Kings Receive: C Kelly Olynyk, F Trey Lyles, F Josh Jackson, 2022 Second Round Pick (via BKN), 2023 Second Round Pick (via CLE or GSW)
It is only a matter of time until Buddy Hield is moved and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. He would be the centerpiece here going back to the Detroit Pistons.
With an overabundance of talent on the perimeter, the Sacramento Kings could benefit from offloading Hield’s salary. Doing so would clear room for Tyrese Haliburton and Davion Mitchell since De’Aaron Fox doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
The Pistons would also send Chimezie Metu to the Pistons. Detroit would be able to get rid of some veteran players and short-term deals.
This begins with Kelly Olynyk and Josh Jackson. They are two players that the Pistons could be looking to move at some point this season. Trey Lyles and second-round draft capital would also be on the way to Sacramento.
