San Antonio Spurs Receive: C James Wiseman
This is a rather straightforward NBA trade scenario from Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz where James Wiseman would find his way from the Golden State Warriors to the San Antonio Spurs.
In order to land Wiseman, the Spurs would send Jakob Poeltl and a 2024 first-round pick to the Warriors.
Wiseman has yet to participate in any of the Warriors’ games so far this season. He was recently cleared to fully participate in basketball activities, but a timetable for return has not been made clear.
For the Spurs, the long-term is what matters most. San Antonio would be adding Wiseman for what he’d do over the next decade, not the next few months.
