The LA Clippers do not have the necessary pieces to make a major change to its roster since the team depleted their first round picks for many years to acquire Paul George in the trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
There’s more to like about what Beasley can provide off the dribble than Kennard. In order to minimize the burden on the team’s superstars, making upgrades in such an area would be helpful.
There isn’t much to be expected from a 2022 second-round pick. Parting with that asset along with Kennard is a very favorable price for Beasley.
