Best Destination No. 1: Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors have looked like one of the best teams in the NBA in the early going of the 2021-22 season. Stephen Curry remains productive, playing at an MVP level and leading the team to a 14-2 start.
The Warriors did an excellent job of upgrading the depth on its team during the offseason as Otto Porter Jr., Andre Iguodala, and Nemanja Bjelica are now in Golden State to help with the second unit. So far it has worked, but if there is one thing this roster needs, it is another point guard.
The Warriors have two excellent table setters in the starting five with Curry and Draymond Green but Golden State’s second unit lacks a true point guard. Iguodala initiates a lot of the offense, but someone such as Goran Dragic could help bring it all together.
Dragic would provide Golden State with a battle-tested, veteran point guard to backup Curry. It is a role that Jordan Poole could take over when Klay Thompson returns, but Poole is at his best looking to score the ball, not distribute it.

Having some insurance, especially when it is a player as accomplished as Dragic, makes sense for Golden State. They added veteran depth everywhere else on the roster, but the point guard spot could sure use some updating as well.
