The LA Clippers brought their new-look stars to town in hopes of winning a championship. That has not happened just yet but there could be some on the horizon, especially if the front office continues to make some big moves.
Los Angeles has been a bit thin down low and this is a reason they have not matched up well against some teams. This includes the Phoenix Suns, who defeated the Clippers in the conference finals.
Thaddeus Young is not a piece that will bring more star power but he is a productive piece that could contribute off the bench for the Clippers. This would bring more depth to a unit that has been a bit thin at times.
With Leonard recovering from surgery to repair a partially torn ACL, the Clippers can use all the help they can get and this is a trade that will add some pieces.
