Best Trade Destination No. 2: Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets could be in the market for some frontcourt help. They brought back Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge while also signing James Johnson. Day’Ron Sharpe was selected using one of their first-round picks. Nicolas Claxton has the potential to thrive, but none are sure things.

Acquiring someone such as Myles Turner, you know what you are getting. And what Turner provides is exactly what the Nets could use some more of.

Without Kyrie Irving, the Nets offense is not as explosive. Bringing in some players that can help offset the loss of offense by improving the defense would make some sense. Turner would thrive as the starting center in this lineup.

His 3-point shooting ability would help space the floor on offense so that Kevin Durant and James Harden can operate freely. With the Indiana Pacers, he has been unable to show his full repertoire playing alongside Domantas Sabonis, but he showed what he is capable of with a 40-point performance against the Washington Wizards.

Turner would get a ton of open looks from the 3-point line with all of the defensive attention being given to Durant and Harden. But, it would be his rim protection and defense which the Nets will benefit the most from having.
