Worst Trade Destination No. 1: Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks were one of the teams that reportedly showed some interest in acquiring Myles Turner a few months ago. While nothing came to fruition at the time, the team could circle back and try acquiring him again.
For Turner, there would have to be some other moves Dallas makes for this to be a good landing spot for him. Unless Kristaps Porzingis is involved in the deal, he would face some of the similar issues he is currently with the Indiana Pacers.
Porzingis and Turner are best suited for playing the center spot. Pairing them together in the frontcourt would likely prove to be a little clunky as neither truly excels playing on the perimeter defensively.
If Porzingis is dealt, Turner could still be sharing the court with someone such as Dwight Powell, who is the team’s current starting center. Dallas should be looking to add pieces to other spots on their roster, such as another ball-handler, not looking to add another center to the mix.

While Turner would be a big upgrade for the team as their defensive anchor, there are too many other parts that would have to be on the move for him to truly blossom in Dallas.
