Would this trade make sense for the Minnesota Timberwolves?

We have been saying for months now bad the Minnesota Timberwolves have been a bad team with the likes of Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell, so that means they could be one without them.

If the Timberwolves have been unable to build over the course of six years, it would benefit the organization to blow it up and start over. Brandon Ingram would be a good place to start alongside Anthony Edwards given his ability to score and high ceiling. He has improved each year in the NBA and there is still some room to grow.

Jonas Valanciunas would be the perfect replacement for Towns as he is also a double double machine that can score in many ways. Minnesota would also load up on draft picks and give them a chance to build around Anthony Edwards.

This is not a trade that would be in Minnesota back to the postseason right away but it is one that would put them on the right path moving forward.
