The Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the more surprising teams thus far in the 2021-22 NBA season. Cleveland currently has a record of 9-7, sitting in sixth place of the Eastern Conference. The team has been playing well despite dealing with numerous players being out of the lineup.

Ricky Rubio is the only player that has appeared in all 16 games for the Cavaliers this season. They have had to constantly shuffle their lineup and rotation, but that has not stopped them from being competitive and winning games.

Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff has done a great job getting his guys to buy in and the results have been positive. It has been a total team effort, as Cleveland currently has eight different players scoring double-figures per game. But, it has been their defense that has carried them thus far.

The Cleveland Cavaliers currently rank 22nd in offensive rating. But, they are 10th in defensive rating. Finding some more offense, especially with Collin Sexton and Evan Mobley set to miss extended periods of time, is imperative.
