The Atlanta Hawks have begun the 2021-22 NBA season 5-9 and they have really struggled on the road compared to at home. As the visiting team, the Hawks are 1-8 on the season, scoring an average of 103.8 points per game and allowing an average of 113.8 points per game.

At home though, this team is a completely different story. They are 4-1 in State Farm Arena this season, scoring an average of 114.2 points per game and allowing an average of 103.6 points per game.

With 9 of their first 14 games of the season being on the road, it is reasonable to think that Atlanta will turn their recent misfortunes around, especially since 7 of their next 10 games are home, but this team does have some problems to sort out.

Trae Young and John Collins have been playing their roles perfectly, but they have been carrying this team. Secondary guys like Bogdan Bogdanovic, Danilo Gallinari, Kevin Huerter and Clint Capela have struggled at times this year, leading to some blowout losses.

LATEST NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: This Hawks-Magic Trade Is Focused On Cam Reddish To Orlando

Cam Reddish has been a bright spot for this team, as the third-year forward is averaging 11.4 points (4th most on the team), 2.9 rebounds and shooting 36.7% from three-point range off-the-bench this season, but there have been talks over the months about the Hawks potentially looking to move Reddish.

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Cam Reddish was available on the trade market at the trade deadline last season and in the offseason around this past year’s draft. There have been plenty of teams monitoring his availability in Atlanta over the last few months and given his hot start to the season, the Hawks could look to capitalize on the young forward’s value.

Trading Reddish is not something Atlanta would want to necessarily do, but with his value high right now and the Hawks tight on cap space, they may be forced to trade him for value since he will be entering the final year of his rookie contract next season.

If the Hawks make Cam Reddish available at the trade deadline once again, then the Chicago Bulls should absolutely be interested. The Bulls are one of the hottest teams in the league right now with their core of Lonzo Ball, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic, but they could use an extra “spark” on their bench.

Alex Caruso is their “Sixth-Man”, but outside of Caruso, this team has not received much help off-the-bench. With Patrick Williams out indefinitely with a wrist injury, the Bulls are thin on the wing, hence why Cam Reddish could be a key, affordable addition for them.

What would it take for the Atlanta Hawks to relinquish Reddish though and do the Chicago Bulls have the necessary assets to trade for him? Let’s take a look at what the Bulls could offer up for the former first-round pick.
